Kyrie Irving: Teaching the Youngbloods a Thing or Two

In case anyone wasn’t aware, Kyrie Irving is the man. He won the Rookie of the Year in run away fashion, relit the fires of hope for the Cavaliers, and now he’s beginning to shine in the national spotlight. Last week a video hit Youtube featuring Irving dressed up as an old man, Uncle Drew. The premise of the video, a Pepsi Max commercial, was a simple one.

Irving shows up to a pick up game with his “nephew” who is being filmed for a documentary. Once one of the other players goes down with an “injury” Uncle Drew steps in to mix results.  After hustling the unsuspecting playes for a few possessions, Uncle Drew starts taking them to school by raining threes, throwing down dunks, and crossing over the “youngbloods.” It’s absolutely priceless.  It’s also the second Pepsi Max spot that Irving has written and directed himself. Apparently he’s multi-talented. You can watch the video below.
