Indians Lose Pitchers Duel

Admittedly I didn’t listen or really pay attention to the Indians game last night.  I was too busy watching game 2 of the Eastern Conference Finals.  On a related note, the Bulls need to get their act together.  Derek Rose had a terrible game by his standards while LeBron put together an outstanding 4th quarter performance.  The whole thing makes me sick.  They need to regroup and be ready for game 3… on Sunday.  Why is the NBA giving them 3 days off in between games?  Can someone please explain that to me?

But back to the matter at hand…

The Indians lost a close one last night to the White Sox, 1-0.  Things could be worse.  It could’ve been a 15-2 route or something along those lines.  Both pitchers were great.  Jake Peavy threw a complete game three hitter while Justin Masterson threw an 8 inning complete game allowing one run on five hits.  You can;t pitch any better than either pitcher pitched last night.  Unfortunately for Masterson he wasn’t able to catch a break and the Tribe couldn’t sneak a run across for him.

In all honesty there isn’t really much left to dissect from last night’s game.  Nothing really happened.  No drama, no real suspense.  There’s not really anything for me to talk about.  Shin-Soo Choo went 2 for 3 so I guess that’s a positive to take away from it.  Yeah… I got nothin’.  No sarcasm, no jokes, no witty comments or comparisons.  I know, I’m as shocked as the rest of you.  I’m only at about 250 words.  This is just depressing.

Here’s some Icelandic soccer team celebrations to make up for it.
