5/4/11: Indians vs. A’s

The Indians go for win number 8 in a row tonight… again.  A win tonight would match the Indians longest win streak of the season which occurred just a short couple of weeks ago.  A win would also continue their dominance over the rest of the American League and possibly put them even further ahead of the pack.  It won’t be easy though.  Trevor Cahill takes the mound for the A’s tonight.  In so many words… the dude’s a stud.  I have faith though and why shouldn’t I?  It’s not like the Indians haven’t busted through every obstacle in their way thus far.

A positive note for tonight’s game is the return of Travis Hafner to the lineup.  He made a pinch-hitting appearance last night and all signs point to his ankle being fine.  I don’t know about the rest of you, but I was starting to get a little worried with each and every game going by without Hafner in the lineup.  Wow… can’t believe I just said that.  Crazy how things turn out… or did I get sent back to 2006?  I’ll have to investigate.

In the meantime… Lineups!
