4/23/11: Indians vs. Twins…DO OVER!

So last night’s game got rained out.  What does that mean?  Well it means they need to make the game up at some point and well, it means take everything I wrote last night and apply it today.

The Indians will look to get back on track tonight as they take on the Twins in Minnesota.  Hopefully they’ve put last night’s nightmare behind them and are able to focus on today.  This is a big series for the Tribe.  Granted, Minnesota is currently in last place in the division, but given recent history you can’t help but think tonight’s game, and even this series, will be a true test for the Indians.  The Twins were the sexy pick to win the division.  And why not?  They only have one of the best rosters in all of baseball.  They’ve also won the division several times in the past few years.  To see the Twins sitting in last place is kind of a shocker.   Despite that, it would be nice to see the Indians put some more space between them and another one of their central rivals, especially while they’re on rough stretch and Joe Mauer is on the DL.  Should be a good series and we should learn a lot.  Hopefully most of it is for the better.

Anyways, here are the lineups for tonight’s game… that’s if it doesn’t get snowed out first.
